Joe: The “Everyman” Journalist

Joe Wurzelbacher may be more than the antidote to what’s afflicting the diseased mainstream media.
UPDATE: See the related War in Gaza post.
UPDATE #2: Joe’s in!
Having already demonstrated he can ask the tough questions, Joe W (aka Joe the Plumber) is now fulfilling the “Everyman” role of war correspondent. And considering he’s already been to “war” with the mainstream media and the Obamination spin machine, there’s no questioning his courage. As Ann Coulter noted, “The claim that there’s no such thing as a left wing press is a patent lie…[n]ewspapers read like the press under Kim Jung Il, which, outside of a police state, looks foolish.” And Joe suffered police state tactics shortly after asking the media’s darling a legitimate question.
What’s interesting about Joe is he’s just like the rest of us. He’s worked hard, lived life on life’s terms, had setbacks and, despite the arrogant and condescending thinking of leftist elitists, Joe, like the rest of us, is a thinking man. In other words, Joe is not the left’s quintessential “Joe Sixpack” the left is so fond of disparaging.
In fact, Joe is more than a courageous man reporting from the war zone in Gaza. He is an inspiration. An inspiration that may lead other Americans to take back their country from the forces of evil. For, unlike the country’s elitists on both sides of the political aisle, Americans are compassionate, thinking, articulate, loving, slow to anger, circumspect, and always ready to help out their neighbor, which is quite a difference than what we’ve seen in elite leftist enclaves in California.
Although the nay sayers are plentiful in the mainstream media, their hatred of Joe raises the specter of their fear and intolerant loathing. Even if Joe does a superb job in Gaza (which I suspect he’ll do, given his tenacity), he will not even earn the left’s grudging respect. Why? Because Joe, like the overwhelming majority of Americans, is a threat to elitist power and the arrogant are always living in fear.
This last observation should be another encouragement to all Americans, because the elite do not harbor “healthy” fear. Instead, they’re consumed with fear stemming from their underlying character flaws and low self-esteem. Moreover, these same elitists have sought out their lifestyles in order to insulate themselves from living lives that result in strong character, compassion, love, and concern for their fellow human beings. This is why they involve themselves in the gymnastic contortions necessary to support and justify every aberrant and perverted “entitlement mentality” that evolves from the pit of Hell, and their flawed characters finds its outworking in their very pubic intolerance for anyone who exhibits the temerity to question their worldview. In essence, America’s elite are mentally, emotionally, and psychologically sick people.
Yet, unlike other Americans, we must be careful in exhibiting too much compassion for the elite, because they’ve repeatedly demonstrated their utter contempt for humanity (except for those with a similar cravenness) and are incapable of discerning right from wrong.
So as Joe begins his work in Israel, may all real Americans wish him “Godspeed.” And, drawing upon John 16:33, all of us “Average Joes” can draw renewed strength, because we can overcome the perverse elitist world!
Praise God for people like Joe “The Everyman”. The Lefties call themselves the party of the commom people, but they harbor a deep hatred when one questions them.
I love watching these talkinghead morons get outraged at having a plumber do their job. Hysterical. They think they are a profession that requires a master’s degree at Columbia. Sorry, it doesn’t. Joe asked the question of Obama most people wanted to ask but no one in the media would dare ask. That makes him more qualified.
