Illinois: Business as usual?

Corruption reigns supreme in the Land of Lincoln, and why shouldn’t it? Lincoln’s tenure as America’s “Chief Suspender of Constitutional Rights” is well documented, and Obama looks to Lincoln as a role model.  This is scary indeed, unless one subscribes to Lincoln’s statement above, which we can be sure Obama does not.

Add in the Obamination team’s contradiction of itself, and we all have to wonder just what Obama knew and just what his involvement was in this latest bit of Illinois Democrat Corruption. Of course, if there is a “smoking gun,” don’t expect the mainstream media to reveal any “dirt” on The One — even if it came down to Team Obamination being part of the kick back for the “Senate Seat for Pay” scandal.

Although Obama himself appears clean on this latest Illinois politics as usual scandal (at the moment), I’m not holding my breath. The mere idea that anyone that hails from the Chicago political machine is clean is ludicrous. Chicago? Clean? I still remember the 1960 election!
