Gay “marriage”: Stop the Madness!
“The adoption of such a loose, flexible, uncontrolled standard for holding laws unconstitutional, if ever it is finally achieved, will amount to a great unconstitutional shift of power to the courts, which I believe … will be bad for the courts and worse for the country.” Justice Hugo Black Griswold v. Connecticut (1965)

Despite the ridiculous notion of tying “gay rights” to “civil rights” and a right to “privacy,” the homosexual agenda continues to enjoy the mainstream media drumbeat of just such silliness.
Couched in the logically fallacious (the ad hominem mantra “homophobic”), disease spreading (73% of HIV infection is caused by male homosexual intercourse), employing a minority behavior to justify a non-existent “right” (most homosexuals are promiscuous), and infecting Western religious orthodoxy with its humanistic claims, the gay-marriage agenda is an aberration and antithetical to God-given human reasoning.
An example of noetically-challenged thought is found in Jonathan Rauch’s pro-gay piece at the Pew Forum. In the Q&A on gay marriage, Rauch makes this indefensible statement: “If you do biblical marriage, then you’re talking about polygamy. It’s there in black-and-white. Or, you’re talking about, for heaven’s sake, no divorce. Jesus himself had nothing to say about homosexuality, but he’s very clear on divorce. You can’t do it. And what I don’t understand is why gay people are the only people in America who have to follow biblical law.”
First, Rauch is wrong on the “no divorce” issue. Christ made it clear that a spouse could divorce their partner for adultery. The Pauline writings added another circumstance as a basis for divorce. Secondly, last time I checked, the Roman Catholic church would not allow a divorced person to remarry unless the church voided the marriage through annulment. Third, the polygamy argument is so ludicrous, the interviewer should have challenged Rauch on the spot. Fourth, Christ is God and, therefore, DID speak to the issue of homosexuality. In fact, God instructed man to impose capital punishment for the moral crime of homosexuality.
Besides Rauch’s remarks being outside a normative thought process and a clear demonstration of his biblical ignorance, there are just as many jurists and Americans who are as, if not more so, illiterate.
Since the Proposition 8 brouhaha erupted in California, gays have rampaged nation-wide and shown their true bullying behaviors. Homosexual America is not interested in due process or the electoral process; Homosexual America is interested in perverting sacred scripture, the constitution, and each other in their lust for justifying their moral and mental sicknesses.
The time for heterosexual politically-correct behavior on this issue has long since passed. It is time for reason and sanity to once again demonstrate its hold on American thought, America’s political process, and American jurists charged with interpreting and correctly applying the US Constitution.
Along these lines, there may be a glimmer of hope. A California judge is having second thoughts on supporting the gay agenda.
One can only hope and pray this woman will be part of the solution to stop the gay-marriage madness.

Sir, you are a pseudointellectual with an opinion, and as such are perhaps the most dangerous type of person alive. Speaking as a “Christian,” you should understand what it’s like to be attacked, alienated, and denied rights for trying to exercise what you believe is right, but I guess you missed that whole section of Christianity’s history. Question: Why are you worried about the AIDS rate amongst homosexuals? It will only kill them in the end, and it’s not like your straight child will be having premarital sex with them anyways, so why bring it up? It’s hatemongering, sir, and as such is quite repulsive. As for “God given human reasoning,” I suppose as a biker you think that the fossil fuel powering your engine is made from prayers and moonbeams, or some other nonscientific religious bull. Our minds, like the rest of our bodies, are the product of evolution, not the will or guidance of some invisible sky wizard. It’s silly and downright pathetic that a grown, seemingly logical adult has to have an imaginary friend. I pity you, sir, truly I do, but I also wish you and all your weak, brainwashed, hate-spewing subhuman kind would do the world a great favour and die. Seriously, I do, you’re wasting oxygen that won’t be returned to the atmosphere because forests are being cut down so your miserable excuse for a guide book can be printed. You say that homosexuality is a “moral and mental sickness.” Morality can exist outside of religion, and in fact operates quite independently of religion functionally in many cultures you’ve probably never heard of. As for the mental illness part, science (that thing that involves proof, and hence holds no attraction for you) has proven that it’s actually more of a mindset than an illness, and that both lesbians and heterosexual males use the left side of their brains the most, meaning that, if lesbians are mentally ill because they’re attracted to women, then you, too, are mentally ill for being attracted to women. So, you see, the only “madness” involved in all this, if you truly believe what you say, is that you are included in the insanity, assuming of course that you’re straight and not, in fact, in favour of other men. You speak of promiscuity? How many young males and young men have been taken advantage of by priests? How many couples, married in a church, devout, have cheated? There’s statistics I could quote, but once again you don’t seem interested in fact, only your fanciful fictional world. I see listed on the right side of the page the group Bikers Against Child Abuse, which causes me to wonder how many Catholic churches you’ve protested against, how many priests you’ve demanded step down for their homosexual activity with presexual males. Hypocrisy is an ugly beast, and right now I’m staring straight into its beady eyes. You and your type aren’t interested in giving homosexuals the right to due process or the electoral process, you don’t consider them human or aren’t willing to give them rights. I say all this as a heterosexual male who was, once, Christian, till I discovered truth, reality, and all these other wonderful things you deny yourself for some odd reason. You speak of reason and sanity? You say this is madness? THIS IS SPARTA! As for you and your impotent little deity, keep praying, it’s the best way to feel like you’re doing something without accomplishing anything. Oh, and as you die and the light fades from your eyes, I hope you finally realize just how empty life can be, living a lie.
Best wishes for a speedy, flaming death on your motorcycle,
Joseph.

You sir, are a sniveling pile of parrot droppings if ever I heard one. Don’t think that we out here in fly-over country didn’t notice the Pink Storm Troopers who harrassed and threatened that group of evangelicals in San Francisco. Don’t think that we don’t know who burned the Wasilla Bible Church.
As for Prop. 8: you lost, so get over it. Gaybos and lesbos haven’t been denied any rights. They are perfectly free and equally entitled to marry somone of the opposite sex. You don’t have the right to marry anyone you want. We also have state laws that deny the right to incestuous couples, or to groups (3 or more) who want to get married. And yes, we rely on an ancient religious tradition for those laws. Yes we do. It’s not that we think homosexuality is any worse or any better than polygamy; it’s that if the Equal Protection Clause (14th Amendment) trumps state laws forbidding same-sex marriage, what is to stop polygamist marriage, or incestuous marriage? The answer is nothing because those laws are also derived from religion. And since the moral source of those laws is religion, do we now have to abolish laws against polygamy and incest? How about murder? It’s the same ultimate source. Our laws and civilization are built on the foundation of religion. You radical homosexualists know this, and this is exactly why you want to make marriage open to everyone. It will be like Europe, where no one gets married anymore, because marriage doesn’t mean anything when anyone can get married. Radical scholars write long-winded scholarly articles which refer to marriage and other western institutions as “hierarachies of privilege” which must be destroyed. Do some research on this subject, and you will see that I am correct on this point.
