Is There a Solution (to our political differences)?

Despite differences across the broad political abyss that separates Republicans and Democrats, there are often times the two philosophically differing entities can work together for the country’s good.

The economy, ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Middle East, and international relations are all areas where the two major parties must work together for the common good of Americans.

Despite the differences these two can address for America, there are still issues that can never and will never be agreed upon. Most, if not all, of these issues are morality-based. Abortion. Gay rights. Stem cell research. All of these have underpinnings that many Americans turn to their faith in God when making their political decisions.

The more radical of the leftists, which includes the president elect, compartmentalize their pseudo-faith and do not actually allow said faith into their political decision-making process. Yet, despite their radicalism, even the radical leftists have some centrist leanings. However, when it comes to the God-ordained morality the Founding Fathers expected our country to rely upon in future generations, the radical leftists are devoid of any concept of morality that isn’t expedient to their political and power-grabbing aspirations.

Since November 4th the morally-devoid leftists have encouraged, aided, and abetted the most morally bankrupt members of our society: Gay activists.

As witnessed time and again, respectful discourse and fact-based arguments advancing their position are non-existent. They’ve attacked elderly women, interrupted the transaction of daily life and business, and engaged in little more than bullying others and making their case to supporters via emotive appeals.

This is the very same mechanism we’ve seen employed by the abortion rights advocates throughout the years. And, just like gay rights, abortion rights proponents cleverly conceal their hideous agenda and historically vile movements.

For example, Planned Parenthood routinely dismisses their founder’s (Margaret Sanger) linkage to Nazi eugenics. Although you would think this would be more clearly articulated by the mainstream media and the Republican party, it isn’t for a very good reason: There is still an argument as to who influenced whom. Did the Nazis influence Sanger or were the Nazis influenced by early 20th Century American eugenics?

At the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter. Early 20th Century American eugenics is part of our nation’s shameful past that is just as morally reprehensible as slavery. The difference is this: America abolished slavery, but it didn’t abolish eugenics, and Holmes’ opinion still stands.

One may ask, “So what?” Well, given the behavior of gay rights activists and supporters, coupled with the condescending language and rage of the left, we have to ask a different question: “When does thought translate to action?”

Although hypothetical at this point, there are some very clear warning signs that should concern Americans with respect to answering the aforementioned question.

First, if the hating hearts of the left, hearts that are oft devoid of God and a love for Him, are representative of the prevailing thought life of the left in general then, at some point, just like Hitler’s rhetoric stirred the German masses to action, thought translates to justification for the logically ensuing actions.

Second, based on what we’re already seeing, those actions can be violent–even violent toward elderly Americans.

Third, given the country’s willingness to engage in multiple types of morally depraved behavior (slavery, exploitation of immigrants, eugenics-inspired forced sterilization, non-treatment for medical conditions in blacks in the name of “science” ala Tuskogee, abortion, gay parades, etc.), what deludes us to the reality that we cannot sink any lower than what we’ve already done throughout our short history?

Fourth, as we contemplate an ever-increasing moral bankruptcy across the country, but particularly within leftist circles, we must face the possibility that the left will translate their anti-conservative rhetoric into life-threatening action.

So what, if any, solution exists?

First, we cannot compromise our moral beliefs.

Second, we must draw lines in the sand for all morally-based political positions.

Third, we must insist that civil disobedience that escalates to law-breaking and/or violence be dealt with quickly, instead of taking a “hands off” position that the LAPD has exhibited this past week.

Fourth, we cannot think any potential behavior of the left outside the realm of their capability and/or possibility–including genocide. Despite our worldview, we cannot and should not assume members of the left share any of it. History teaches us that leftists are responsible for more murderous behavior in the 20th Century than conservative actions ever contemplated, much less acted on.

Fifth, we must mentally, emotionally, and psychologically prepare ourselves and our children for a long battle of ideologies, if we are to wrest control of our society from leftist evil and its blatant disregard for human life. Bear in mind, the left will play the “we care more than you” card whenever it suits their power-grabbing agenda but, as demonstrated by their abortion on demand mindset, they clearly do not care about humanity.

Christ made it very clear that we should “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14) And, despite this verse being perverted by leftists to justify abortion, we also see clearly that Christ maintained a consistent view toward children: “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matthew 18:6) Obviously for children to believe in Jesus, they cannot have been aborted.

Finally, as we ponder our response to the hate displayed by the left in word and in deed, consider our source of strength and His admonishment to us: “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13 (NASB)

May God have mercy on us and our country.
