Rahm Emanuel: “Sieg heil, mein Fuhrer!”

2008 November 15

“A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an argument.” Hilmar von Campe former Hitler Youth Member

Before anyone starts screaming about Rahm Emanuel’s ethnicity and how the subject of this post is a hateful slur, let me remind the reader that Emanuel and I share the same ethnicity. I was born and raised a Jew, circumcised on the eighth day, studied the Torah, and, just like blacks who refer to each other as “niggers” on Clinton’s night basketball courts, I think I have the right to address my “Jewish brother’s” blindness to truth. And others have the right, even as non-Jews, to call Emanuel on his support for the megalomaniac Obama.

Besides Emanuel, I also have the inherent right as an American to address the overwhelming Jewish support of Obama. Support that is not only blind to Obama’s obvious intent, but is blind to the intrinsic truth of their own Holy Scripture, which we Christians refer to as the Old Testament. Of course, as an ethnic Jew, I’ve watched my brothers and sisters place their ethnicity above the Word of God during the last 50 years.

Instead of stopping at the liberal “Reformed Judaism,” Jews now embrace some of the most aberrant thinking, even labeling one form as “Humanistic Judaism.”

Being blind to their own religious teachings results in their supporting a man who pimps them and their support, pandering to their “concerns” by appointing a Jew as Chief of Staff to allegedly signal Obama’s support of Israel.

Unfortunately, this misses the point. Jews and all Americans enjoy their freedoms when their elected representatives, judges, and the executive branch adhere to the principles embodied in our Constitutional Republic. When this occurs, our country’s support for Israel is unquestionable, because it is a normal outworking of a morality-based worldview originally articulated by our Founding Fathers.

Antithetical to respect for our Republic is the president-elect, who finds our Constitution “fundamentally flawed,” which begets the pandering to the Jewish special interest group.

With this in mind, let’s take a closer look at what a man with experience in Nazi Germany has to say about America’s new direction resulting from Obamination’s siren-song of “change.”

I lived the Nazi nightmare, and…[e]verything I write is based on my personal experience in Nazi Germany. There is nothing theoretical about my description of what happens when a nation throws God out of government and society, and Christians become religious bystanders. I don’t want to see a repetition. The role of God in human society is the decisive issue for this generation. My writing is part of my life of restitution for the crimes of a godless government, of the evil of which I was a part.”

Von Campe makes four very laconic observations: (1) There is nothing theoretical about his observations i.e., he has learned from history, (2) his observations are based on the result of a nation throwing God out of government and society, (3) Christians have become religious bystanders, and (4) God’s role in human society is the decisive issue for this generation.

Let’s begin with his first observation–theory. Unlike the Theory of Evolution, Economic Theory, Quantum Entanglement Theory, or any other form of non-replicable postulate, Nazi Germany is a political fact of history and, despite the Jew’s “never again” mantra, the 20th Century was littered with post-World War II despots who murdered millions of people.

Secondly, despite Hitler’s “Christian” rhetoric, Hitler was not a Christian. He was involved in pagan beliefs and his fascist thinking harkened to Germany’s and Europe’s pre-Christian polytheism. Moreover, Hitler’s “theologians” were an aberration and willingly assisted Hitler’s basis for ridding Europe and Eastern Europe of untermenschen. What should be disturbing to our citizenry is the theology embraced by Hitler’s so-called “Christian” pastorate, which we see replicated in far too much of America’s contemporary pastorate: liberal theology. The result in America is the same as for Nazi Germany–our country has collectively thrown God out of government, which is not to be confused with the principle of church-state separation. Our Founding Fathers clearly understood the difference. They were witnesses to the obduracy of a church-state “marriage,” and rejected that form of government for our Republic. However, they also recognized that the people’s freedom within our governmental structure could only be maintained if Christian morality provided the boundaries which “channeled” the nation’s leaders and society. Unfortunately, the most subversive, hate-filled, and anti-God forces within our society have destroyed the boundaries, insisting that freedom includes hedonism, sexual perversion, crass materialism, and a plethora of other contemptible views of constitutionally protected “rights” (such as the “invention” of a right to abortion).

As von Campe notes, “Democratic procedures can be subverted and dishonest politicians are like sand in the gearbox, abundant, everywhere and destructive. What I see in America today is people painting their cabins while the ship goes down. Today in America we are witnessing a repeat performance of the tragedy of 1933 when an entire nation let itself be led like a lamb to the Socialist slaughterhouse. This time, the end of freedom is inevitable unless America rises to her mission and destiny.”

In his third observation, von Campe clearly indicts America’s Christians as the most responsible party for our nation’s ills and the course we are on. As bystanders, the majority of our country’s Christians have sold-out on their moral responsibilities and rejected the Bible’s moral absolutes. Yes, there are bright spots. Roman Catholic Bishops throughout the country are confronting their flocks and political leaders for supporting the most abortion-friendly leader our country has ever elected. Unfortunately, this is not enough. The majority of Christians are far too passive and they need to do more than discuss the problem amongst themselves.

The most important thing von Campe notes is the role of God in human society. As noted above, our Founding Fathers realized the need for God and a belief in God to maintain our constitutional freedom. Despite all rhetoric to the contrary, this fundamental principle remains: Those who reject God and His role in our society are enemies of the American people, the US Constitution, and our republic. If there is to be a litmus test for political office and political ideology, then Americans must reject anything and everything political or “rights” oriented that fails to incorporate biblical principles. A continuing failure to incorporate biblical principles into our personal and societal lives will lead to the inevitable destruction of our freedoms and a tyrannical form of government. History supports this viewpoint from a political standpoint and God’s description of depraved human nature supports this viewpoint.

So how can we avoid the inevitable tyranny that will result from our current path of “choice”?

The only solution is revolution.

First, there must be a “spiritual” revolution within our churches and within ourselves. The flocks have to reject any form of feel-goodism within Christianity, including the false teachers and heresies of the name-it-and-claim-it/prosperity gospel/”word-faith” movement, the mega-church, and any pastor who rejects or subverts Christian orthodoxy. Secondly, Christians need to lead the fight for a true “political revolution.” Our country needs change, but not the change Obamination has in mind. The change we need is a return to constitutional principles that are supposed to be guided by Judeo-Christian thought not political hegemony coupled with judicial-fiat. Third, barring peaceful change within the system, Christians and non-Christians alike must be prepared for the possibility of “Jeffersonian-style” revolution. If this becomes a necessity, then the foundational principles for such a course of action have already been established for us in tomes such as Lex Rex, the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers, Common Sense, The Law (by Bastiat) and the sermons of the American Revolutionary Era.

In the meantime, it is a necessity to pray for our leaders, while simultaneously identifying the enemies of God and the Republic among us. Will Obamination, after taking the oath of office, sincerely “support and defend” the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic, if he thinks it’s “fundamentally flawed”? Will Rahm Emanuel support our allies (including Israel) if political expediency and maintaining power dictates otherwise? Probably not. Therefore, it is time for Americans to gird up their loins. It is time for Americans to confront the godless hate of the gay movement, liberal teachers and professors, liberal theologians, liberals in general, and those opposed to Judeo-Christian morality and Christian orthodoxy–including church leaders. We begin the confrontation with an articulate apologia but, if necessary, we extend no quarter to those who would support leaders who will take our country into a Nazi-style tyranny. As General George Patton said, Nobody ever defended anything successfully; there is only attack and attack and attack some more.”

This is in extremely poor taste. Par for the course with you.

    SIT,

It’s not an issue of “taste,” it’s an issue of “truth.”

The truth can sometimes hurt, but it sets people free and freedom is the issue.

BTW, I’m a Sox fan too.

    Mark,
There is no doubt we will be in the minority embracing the ideas that you have so eloquently stated; however, that can’t stop us from voicing what we know to be true. The fact that others disagree and have gone so far as to call the truth a lie only proves the scriptures, and if they could see that it was prophesied thousands of years ago that they would hold these beliefs, who knows what ludacris denial we might hear. “Right will be lauded as wrong and wrong, right.”
We as Christians have stood by too long, and now we have work to do. No longer can we be lukewarm and risk being spewed out of the Father’s mouth. My fear is that those who are no longer able to discern wrong from right are unaware that they are being deceived. It’s time to fish or cut bait.
My father always told me, I must stand for something or I’ll fall for anything. To be honest, I have no idea if he lifted that from some amazing statesman or the lyrics of a country song. It really doesn’t matter. All that matters is I know what I believe and why, and the gratitude I have to those brave Jewish believers who brought the message of their Messiah to me will never fade. Now it is my job to put the ball back in their court. The times of the Gentles (nations) has nearly come to an end. The nation of Israel was chosen to be the bearer of good tidings of great joy, that shall be to all people. If we could just undo what the church has done to that message. The Messiah came as a Suffering Servant. He will return as a Conquering King, and He will come back to an Israeli nation and the Jewish people when they say, baruch ha ba b’shem Adonai. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
    Shalom,

    Mark,

S.I.T. has a point. This is par for the course.

For those of us who have followed your writings for a while, this latest incarnation of your blog is just further evidence that you don’t seem to know what to do with yourself if you aren’t criticizing somebody.

Cloak yourself in humility. Don’t let anger poison you anymore. That’s when you’ll truly be a force for changing the world.

    Luke,

Although I’ve spent more time blogging here lately, my other site is alive and well.

This blog is not about “criticizing” anyone in particular. However, it is about addressing the duplicity, lies, evil, and rampant dishonesty in the contemporary American political process. Which, unfortunately, is fueled by an uneducated and ill-informed electorate. Although I can agree in principle with a local pastor who would share my distaste for the majority party candidates and their respective party, this in no way will ever excuse him for running an equally elaborate smear campaign that was filled with the same duplicity, lies, evil, and rampant dishonesty and, by extension, included attacks on children. That man will have to give account for his actions to a Holy God, just as the candidates in this past election, the spin-meisters, the dishonest members of the mainstream media, and those who voted for a man whose support for abortion (a procedure rooted in the Eugenics hall of shame) must give account also.

Lastly, it is one thing to understand a voter with a high school education that is being bombarded by the MSM making poor choices (unless they’re a member of the Hollywood elite with the same qualifications “advising” voters whom to support), it’s quite another for a Ph.D. student to engage in classical logical fallacy. Of course, the aforementioned pastor — a school-trained lawyer — engages in the same faulty logic.

I hope this clears up the issue for you. BTW, if you would like, I will expedite a post that is 3rd or 4th in line right now. I think it may provide some insight into the faultiness of a system that remains outside the Word. I’ll give you a hint, it’s related to a popular bit of thinking in the early 20th Century.

    Mark

P.S. Please do not mistake frustration for anger. Although they may appear the same in the written word at times, I can assure you that anger is not the motive.
