Similar to congressional action on the economy being “past due,” a voter ID law is even longer past due.
Despite repetitive news stories over the years concerning voter fraud (even CNN is reporting on it today), once again, congressional inactivity is a culpable act for the rampant voter-registration fraud taking place all around us.
A national voter ID law is necessary and the time is now. We’ve waited too long and, by waiting, we have yet another national election that will be tainted by illegal voter registration.
Despite Democratic rhetoric and bold-faced lies, a national Voter ID Law would not violate the Voting Rights Act adopted in 1965. Furthermore, the intent of the act has absolutely nothing to do with establishing an ID law. Again, despite duplicitous arguments to the contrary, a voter ID law would actually strengthen and provide legitimacy to the Voting Rights Act.
If this were not so, then Texas would be outside the “penumbra and emanations” surrounding the 15th Amendment to the US Constitution in its latest requirements that all Texans provide proof of citizenship to obtain or renew a driver’s license!
The Democrats’ opposition to a Voter ID Law has absolutely nothing to do with disenfranchised minority voters. The fussin’ has everything to do with the Democrats’ decades-long practice of establishing “fronts” to provide bogus voter registrations that are used to “stuff the ballot box.”
Michelle Malkin has been writing about voter registration fraud for weeks. Her series on ACORN activities is but one example of the Democrats and their cohorts doing “whatever it takes” to get Hussein (Obama) elected president.
In addition to Malkin and CNN, Fox News also reported on ACORN’s efforts and a recent raid on its offices in Nevada. Throw in illegal foreign donations to Obama’s campaign and one quickly understands just how far over the line the Democrats are willing to step.
And how do the Democrats respond to facts? By making false allegations regarding racism to deflect scrutiny of their ongoing deception(s) of the electorate!
However, a judge has ruled that the Ohio Secretary of State, a Democrat, violated existing federal election law, while a “multiple times registered voter” tells her story on tape (“I can’t even count how many registrations I filled out!”).
In addition to ACORN’s activities, a La Raza partner has been caught engaging in voter fraud as well.
Native-born and naturalized Americans who have the “right” to vote should be outraged over the Democrat’s opposition to a Voter ID Law. But, as we’ve seen so many times since the early 20th Century, the morally and ethically-challenged Democrats and their electoral base, judicial supporters, and their pandering pals in the media and Hollywood do not care about what is good for America…they just want their “will” imposed on all Americans at any cost and by any means.
Bottom line: It’s all about power. Come to think of it, that was the goal of the National SOCIALIST Party as well, and America paid quite a price freeing Europe from the “programs” Hitler and his henchmen initiated.
