We’re HAPPY as Hell!
Yes, Michelle Malkin has it right — SARAH ROCKS!
The elder statesman from Dela-where went down in flames last night, despite the “awful” front-loaded bias of Gwen “Age of Obama” Ifill. Though some believe Ifill behaved, this writer disagrees. “Awful’s” only moral course of action was to recuse herself from the debate in the first place. Moreover, PBS is (once again) to blame for the liberal-tripe-at-taxpayer-expense that tolerated this duplicitous behavior and blatant contempt for the public at large. The time for axing PBS is long past due, and I concur with Andy McCarthy’s comment that, “…it was an unmitigated disgrace for her to be presiding — and she is smart enough to know that, so not stepping aside was a culpable act.”
Frankly, I don’t expect anything less from our ballot-box-stuffing, baby murdering platform plank, contempt for Joe and Jill America members of the liberal elite. Every political action of the left is contemptuous because of its roots in the lust for power and group arrogance. Add in the pandering to special interests (unions, gays, fascist feminists, illegal aliens, etc.) with the articulated “we care,” while simultaneously (in the back rooms and their hearts) rolling their individual and collective eyes at the “stupid masses,” and one begins to understand why Ifill’s actions constitute a culpable act.
Between “Awful” Ifill’s, the mainstream media’s, and Joe “Assassination Insurance” Biden’s performance, America has lots of new reasons to vote down any and all notion of the “Age of Obama.” As noted by Pajamas Media, “In short, she entirely and completely beat the spread. Her performance, given how poorly she has fared recently, was nothing short of stunning. And Biden knew it.”
More importantly, however, Americans have the best reason to send “BS” Hussein (Obama) back to his Chicago digs — Sarah. And Mark Levin (again) is spot on in his analysis:
I have been involved in and observed politics for a long time. Governor Palin is a truly unique national figure. She is down to earth, personable, and smart as hell. That’s right. She has been on the national scene for a little over a month, she has been campaigning everywhere, she has had to bone up on all kinds of national issues, and she has shown class throughout. Too often too many are persuaded by the mainstream media’s opinion and react to that. This should be another lesson in that regard. As for some of her populist views, she cannot openly campaign against the positions of her presidential running mate. She is the bright light in this campaign from my perspective.
Meanwhile, returning to the polar opposite of Sarah’s “light,” we return to the Dark Side — congress.
Although there is uncertainty as to how members of the House will vote, the Senate had no business even discussing the “beastly bailout,” but voting on it is another contemptuous act toward the American people. The last time I checked, the House had the purse strings. Who the hell do the “100″ think they are? For some reason the line spoken by the wife of King Leonidas in “300″ keeps echoing in my head: “Only Spartan women give birth to real men.” Come to think of it, Sarah could reprise that roll. And, fast forwarding a few centuries, display the balance of Spartan toughness with Christian compassion (her youngest son comes quickly to mind). However, I will apologize to all the liberals who are offended by Christian compassion and prefer that Sarah “dispose of her baby” like a Spartan mother.
